("Pepsi One Is Crap!")
This episode of Citizen Arcane was a lot of fun. Well, it was if you consider drinking large amounts of rancid diet cola while attempting to keep from urinating fun. It was a competition between myself (Iggy [The Atomic Playboy]), Rudy (The Swankmeister General), Pablo, and our tag-along for the day, Adam. I had a huge lead until nature called with 20 minutes left in the show. I couldn't withstand the pressure, so I gracefully bowed out of the competition. Pablo was declared the winner, with Rudy in second and Adam in third. On a totally unexpected lighter note, our friends at Bowling Green Radio News, who make it a point to cut 20 minutes out of our show each week, showed the extent of their unprofessionalism this past week. We cued the news team to begin their broadcast at 5 o'clock, as normal. They had been drinking Pepsi One with us outside of the studio, and we stood around and talked for a bit. As an intro to their newscast, the announcer said, "Thank you, porno star and queer." Admittedly, she stumbled on her words, and didn't mean to call me a queer, but I saw the opportunity for some spontaneous comedy, so I turned my mic on and asked them if they just called me queer. They were shocked that I had suddenly interrupted their newscast, and started laughing continuously for quite a long time. We caught it all on tape, unfortunately for them.
